February is not holding back in terms of flying right by! Here we are, already ten days in and I’m trying to remember what I have done since this months began (not a whole lot…let me tell ya!). I am starting to really believe those who told me that my final year at university goes by quickly…I can’t even believe that I will be a university graduate in less than three little months!

I love a good pink sweater…but this one is out of this world. I hunted all over the web for this last Valentine’s Day after seeing it on a well-known fashion blogger (whose name actually escapes me right now…). It wasn’t exactly like this one, but this one is so comfy because it is textured! It was such a beautiful day outside (as it has been every day this February) which meant the sun was shining and I could feel the Spring breeze in my hair!
True Spring will be here sooner than we all think, and I cannot wait! What a mild year we have had and I could not be so glad (although I do love a good snow fall!). Kiss, kiss Winter!
Happy Valentine’s Day!

You don’t have to get all dolled up to look nice for Valentine’s Day, but these looks are pretty much to die for. I would love to recreate these looks from these fabulous ladies. This annual occasion is all about being yourself with the ones you love, and so anything you choose to wear will look amazing as long as you feel amazing!
Whether you are getting wined and dined or staying in with a big bowl of popcorn and Netflix, V-Day is the perfect day to celebrate!

With the red and pink holiday just around the corner, I have been sniffing out my favourite red and pink pieces to sport on the big V-Day! As most of you know, I am obsessed with sweaters (it’s a problem!) so after doing a little catalog hopping, I pulled my favourite red knits that you can cozy up in on Valentine’s Day! Whether you stay in with popcorn and a movie, or go out with your honey, you will be comfortable in style for this lovey-dovey day!

After hunting around Pinterest for a little ‘pin-spiration’, it was clear that Haley from Me & Mr Jones is sporting this cozy red knit in one of the best ways. So I don’t know about you, but I may have to hop on this band wagon – the red knit sweater band wagon.

Lately, I have been obsessing over the colour red. Red is a really bold colour, and in order to wear it, you need to wear it with confidence. That is probably the best way to wear such a colour, why? Because red screams “Look at me!”. Does the girl wearing red at a party ever get overlooked? No she does not! The girl in red gets noticed.
In the Winter season, wearing reds is extra noticeable. It stands out against snow (that’s kind of obvious being that snow is bright white), and it completely combats the cold temperatures! Warms you up, if you will.

Remember when I showed you this outfit last week? Well, I thought it would be great to put it out on display right here! I provided the links to the *similar items that match the ones I wear. I shop mainly at Winners, so I can’t always find the exact items on sale for you!
A cozy red sweater is the perfect colour and texture for the Winter. I cozied up in winter reds last week, and I am going to continue to cozy up in Winter reds for the rest of Winter…just so I can keep warm, of course!
How do you wear Winter Reds? Do you love them like I do? Let me know in the comments below…
It has only been ONE WEEK since I moved back to school (I know, I said that yesterday…), but can you believe how slow the new year is moving? I don’t know if it is because I am totally on track with my resolutions (yay me!), or if it’s because it’s suddenly dropped in temperature. Either way, these last seven days have felt more like seven months!

I picked this French Connection sweater up at Winners over the holidays. I’m sure glad I did now that we have this chilly weather (and by “chilly”, I mean freezing), I need something cozy! Red is always a nice colour for the Winter season because it livens things up (enough with the white and black!!). These dress pants are super comfortable (also from Winners…can you see a trend here?) which I picked up to wear to Christmas lunch with the family!! These boots are really old, but shearling trim never goes out of style!
Now that the holidays are over and school is back in full swing, I am making sure that I continue on a great routine. Being organized is a better way to live, if you ask me. I am on track with all of my resolutions, staying organized, eating moderately better than I was in 2015, and (so far) on top of my studies!
Can it get any better than that?
Cheers to the New Year!
