Running into Summer w/ Skechers

There is nothing that makes me happier than a bright and sunny weekend! After way too many months of winter, it’s about time that the snow melted away and the sun came out to play! This past week has been absolutely gorgeous, and I have been fortunate enough to spend majority of my time outside (bonus!).

Tank Top: Forever 21 / Cropped Leggings: Tuff Athletics / Plaid Shirt: Thrifted / Shoes: c/o Skechers / Hat: Eddie Bauer

I love being active when the good weather comes around. Spending my days in yoga pants and a good pair of runners is heaven because it’s so easy to throw together. Having said that, just because it’s a lazy look, does not mean that you can’t look completely stylish at the same time.

I threw this summer active look together for several purposes – lounging, working out and running long weekend errands. The comfort comes in the simple tank and cropped leggings. However, the style comes in the hat, tied flannel and of course, these new Skechers D’Lites.

Runners are my go-to shoe for the summertime, solely because they are so comfortable and stylish. Summer is a time filled with music festivals, outdoorsy activities, and having fun – and what better shoe to set your feet up with, than these babies. Which is why when the uber-comfortable Skechers D’Lites arrived on my doorstep, I jumped for joy!

Complete with an air-cooled memory foam sole and a slick design in black and white, this shoe is so easy to style and make your best friend this summer. The D’Lites are completely weightless, which makes them a breeze to do any fun summer activity all day in.

From before I can remember, I was sporting Skechers. It is always nice to be able to work with them and share their product! As much as style is so important when choosing a good pair of shoes, you also need to think about the quality. After testing out this newly revamped classic Skechers style, I can assure you that the D’Lites are one pair of shoes that are definitely worth adding to your summer collection.

Keep comfortable this summer!

BIKINI SEASON

The season that everybody awaits is almost here. Summer is coming in strong and quickly, but are you as prepared as you need to be? Last year, I went on a massive hunt to find the best swimsuits I could for my move to Florida. However, I shied away from the bikini because…well, many ladies would understand why.

This year, however, I am breaking out a new look and I am on another hunt. Except this time, I am hunting down the perfect bikini. These days, finding a swimsuit is as easy as clicking a button…and well, that’s exactly what you have to do! Although, sometimes it can be hard to find a trusted site that will deliver exactly what you see.

Zaful has been my handy style site for about 6 months now, and I have been overjoyed with the products I have received. That is why I have done a little couch shopping this evening, and ultimately put together a wishlist for this upcoming bikini season. Now, I should warn you…I have not tested out the product. This is sight unseen. In no way have I actually tried the stocked collection that Zaful is offering – buyer beware.

Okay, hold on…it seems as if some monokinis and one pieces snuck their way onto this wishlist. I guess I will leave them because they are super cute (my favourite? Probably this palm print one piece). You really can’t have too many swimsuits, can you?

It will only be a matter a time before I get my hands on one of these amazing pieces…so in that case stay tuned

Peace out!

Wrap it Up!

It should be no surprise that I like clothing. I have got clothing coming out of my ears! This past winter, I have been trying to cut down on my spending, and only adding to my wardrobe when absolutely necessary. Now, I can’t say that I have been super successful…however, I am definitely learning the meaning of want and need.

Wrap Coat: c/o Zaful / Jogger Pants: Shein / Shoes: Converse

When it comes to my clothing want list, the list runs on forever. There are so many stunning pieces that are retailing right now that would make my wardrobe tres magnifique!! Included among those stunning items, is a shawl collared belted wrap coat.

A wrap coat is the perfect all-season, dressy outerwear for the fancy lady who is ready to strut her stuff. It is light, whimsical, and pretty much goes with anything (depending on what colour you order it in, of course!). Whether I am gallivanting through the streets of Toronto, walking to school, or running errands – this coat is the perfect transition-coat for the spring/summer season!

I paired this shawl collared belted wrap coat with an all black and white scheme. I wanted the camel colour to really stand out. This was one of my more casual city looks because I was bopping around the city having fun that day. I dress this coat up by pairing it with nice jeans or textured leggings, some chic heels and a blow-out of a hair-do! It doesn’t help to showcase some detail around the neckline either (wink, wink!).

If you follow my Pinterest boards, you would know that I really, really, really love coats and outerwear. Whether it is a quilted vest in the fall, or a floral jean jacket in the spring…you  name it, I love it! However, when I go through my “want list” of clothing…it seems that the list doesn’t always match up with my bank account (student life). That is primarily why I use Zaful

Zaful is a budget-friendly, high fashion, in style brand that can hook you up with the items you want…for prices that you LOVE! I never would have been able to snag this super chic, practical, and totally amazing coat if it were not for Zaful‘s awesome selection of outerwear! If you haven’t checked it out, you really should go do that now.

Wrap up your fashion with Zaful by heading over and indulging now!

FAUX FUR COLLAR

One of my favourite things about fashion is the opportunity you get each time you pick out your clothing. There are so many options, and chances to step outside of your comfort zone and really explore who you are. Whether you are dabbling in pattern mixing, or trying out a new textured piece, the possibilities are endless. Plus, it’s pretty fun too!

Coat: c/o Zaful / Pants: Michael Kors / Boots: Blundstone / Shirt: Zaful

If you walk into my closet, you will find pretty much anything and everything – florals, faux furs, stripes, neon, neutrals…you name it, I probably have it somewhere in the depths of my wardrobe. I love mixing it up and playing dress up and you can’t play dress up without options.

This faux-fur collared overcoat is one of my favourite pieces right now. It’s the perfect neutral third piece to top off your casual, or dolled up look. As usual, I went for a more casual style in this particular look. Keeping neutral with black pants and boots, but then giving a subtle pop with a vibrant blue mock necked top underneath.

Zaful is one of my favourite brands right now (if you haven’t noticed). I love how quickly I receive my items, and how quality they are. I don’t love to shop online, but I am almost guaranteed satisfaction with Zaful. There is so much selection – I have no doubt that you won’t find at least one item you will love and need in your closet!

I have been getting back on the blogging train recently, and hope to bring some great new looks this coming season with Zaful! Stay tuned for much, much more.

Voila!

Oh La La, Holy Beret!

Now that the weather is brightening up, I am quickly putting away my winter parka, and pulling out some fresh new pieces! However, it isn’t quite warm enough to go without some essential cozy accessories, like a hat and scarf. I love accessories. Some of my favourite accessories to incorporate into my looks are different fashion hats!

Sweater: J.Crew Factory / Pants: Michael Kors / Shoes: Converse / Hat: c/o Zaful / Scarf: Stitches

I have never owned a beret before, but I have always wanted to have one. Well, this past month, my fashion hat dreams came true! I often hesitate to tug a fashion hat on because they are few and far between where I am from. However, I think that these accessories can be the cherry on top of an oh-la-la outfit.

Like I have raved time and time again, Zaful provides you with the latest and greatest, as well as some key style pieces that will upgrade your wardrobe in no time! I have spent years looking for a beret that would fit with the pieces that I own. Once I logged onto Zaful, it took me maybe five minutes to lock down the perfect one, and oh is it ever perfect!

Styling a hat can be simple. In most cases, the accessory can act as the main draw to your overall look, but with this piece, it already stands out enough on its own. Because of that, I chose complimenting colours to support the hat as is (navy blue, different hues of grey, etc.). This is more of a casual look overall. If I wanted to incorporate the beret in a dressier look, I would pair it with a cute shift dress and cardigan.

Fashion hats can look super corny if you don’t style them properly. Especially with such an old style like this piece, I wanted to make sure the hat I picked didn’t look like it was supposed to be a Halloween costume. I chose the grey tone because it matches a lot of what I own.

Jump out of your comfort zone this season with Zaful!
