What a different Thanksgiving this has been! Not only was there no large family dinner, but seeing family in general wasn’t really in the cards and honestly, with what has been going on this year…it was the least we could do to keep each other safe.
So instead, I spent it with those who are in my bubble, relaxing and doing a bit of crafting. Last week, in anticipation of this wonderful family holiday, I decided to throw myself into a Cricut project!!
I really never have to purchase a cute, funny tee again because of the wonderful Cricut Explore Air and EasyPress. That’s what I am sharing with you today!
I love a casual Thanksgiving look, and that’s exactly the look I went for this year. A casual graphic tee (that I just made with my Cricut), dark jeans (perfect for Fall), neutral mules, and a patterned camo anorak jacket! This look screams Fall and I am here for it!
This shirt took no longer than an hour to design and create and I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. I have been making cute little tees for a year now, but this time I used a new iron-on material…Cricut iron-on foil!
I wanted to add a level of texture to this project and I was very successful! Incorporating foil was a great decision and it is so easy to work with! I was a little apprehensive to try foil because it’s such a different material, but was pleasantly surprised that it was a piece of cake!
I love how the foil catches the light, giving this shirt the holiday spirit that it needs! Stay tuned for a tutorial coming on just how to use iron-on foil. Whereas today, I wanted to showcase this wonderful material in an outfit style post, a tutorial is coming soon!
