9 Pairs of Shoes You Need This Season

Spring is coming in quick, and I am dreaming of shoes these days. Instagram has a funny way of showing you all of the cool trends and cute clothing that you NEED in your closet each season. So of course, I hopped online tonight to pull some of my favourite looking footwear!

Last year, we saw a lot of pastel colours, floral patterns and cool tones. Personally, I am still obsessed with pastels and florals. However, there a bunch of new trends for 2020 that I am totally on board with! As always, my wishlist is above, and if you’re like me…you’re going to want all of them.

Blush Pink has always been a favourite colour of mine. In fact, I have always loved it and pink shoes are just the touch of colour you need to top of a springy look! Blush also transitions extremely well into summer for when that hot weather comes along (which I’m sure we will see quite soon…).

I have been watching Tiger King this week (I officially jumped on the bandwagon) and I don’t know if that’s what has everyone going wild over animal print, but it is popping up everywhere. My favourite right now is snakeskin. It gives a lot of texture to an outfit, and works perfectly in shoes and accessories. Of course, leopard print will always be my number one print to love…

Nothing like a big POP of colour to make your outfit stand out. I love pairing a rather neutral or monochrome outfit with a colourful shoe. Like hot pink sandals, or a nice yellow pair of espadrilles!

Speaking of espadrilles…have you seen how cute this style shoe is? I need them in my life. The platform espadrilles are my favourite and on top of that when they are a bright summery colour? Perfect!

I saved my favourite for last…white sneakers. I love them. They are amazing. There’s nothing more to say other than that they go with absolutely everything and keep your feet happy and comfy (which you know I am all for)! If you don’t have a pair of go-to white sneaks…get on it.

There you have it! All of those springy trends that are surfacing this spring. I like to challenge myself to try a new trend every year, and I can definitely get on board with this season! Adding to your wardrobe is always a good idea…
