Winter weather makes me want to cozy up in a sweater and pajamas and drink hot cocoa. However, that is not always in the cards for my day to day routine. In order to keep the comfy vibes alive, I stock my closet with cozy knits and comfy sweats. Keeping those cozy vibes alive this season is a priority of mine, but just because they are sweaters, doesn’t mean they can’t have an edge to them…
Sweater: c/o Zaful / Pants: Lulu Lemon (Studio Pants) / Faux Fur Crossbody: mark. by Avon
I like mixing things up and this sweater certainly accomplishes that. Chokers are right in style this year, so that feature really jumped out at me when selecting this piece. The great thing about this piece is that it can be worn in several looks (I may have to style it again for you guys).
I found this sweater at Zaful, who I have worked with before. I am addicted to their clothing. They give great quality pieces and they have affordable pricing – which is perfect for my student shopper lifestyle. I always know that I am going to find the perfect piece for a look that I am styling.
This look is super casual, but I decided to pair this choker knit sweater with a pair of studio track pants, my favourite black boots (not pictured) and a faux fur crossbody bag. The studio pants dress the sweater down and the faux fur bag is a nice touch to spice up the look. This outfit is the perfect, most simple combo to throw together when you are heading out to run some errands.
If I were to dress this piece up (and I have already), I would pair it with a textured bottom. Denim or leather would go nicely. Some classic bangles on the wrists would give the look some arm candy that the outfit needs. Finally, black heeled ankle booties would be my go-to. However, you really could take this piece and run with it in terms of outfit options.
Dressed up or down, this piece is stunning and definitely a must-have. As are most of the items that Zaful can offer you right now. Head over and check out their latest collection and look forward to my up and coming wishlist that I will be publishing in the next month.
What are you waiting for?
