Time flies when you’re…at school. Well, sometimes that does actually ring true. Other than procrastination, lots of Netflix watching and stumbling around trying to get my teacher’s college applications filled out, this week really hasn’t been too interesting. Life seems to be moving on regardless of what goes on, and so do these posts that I release each week! What is working for me these days are ideas for posts – gift guides, style showcases, and fashion critiques – all ideas that have just been sparking in my brain lately, which is why I am excited to rhyme off some new goals this week!
Last time, I set kept two goals – I did not add any new goals in order to focus on the ones that were outstanding:
1. Release a DIY Tutorial.
Week after week, and this does not get complete. However, by next week this one will be complete.
2. Giveaway Planning.
I have done a little work in setting up a giveaway (or brainstorming for one) in the new year, however I want to make sure that it is done right, so this goal is staying up here!
Although I did not complete any goals this week, through planning and brainstorming, I am a lot closer to completing these long term goals than I was one week ago – so that is a step in the right direction.
This week, I have one major goal to add to my list:
Set up Google Analytics.
I have tried this once before and got really frustrated and confused and gave up. Well, as I review my website stats via WordPress Statistics, part of me is questioning how accurate they are, and since I want to get into monetizing Pearls and Polkadots, I need to have accurate statistics.
My goal for this week is pretty major, and it may be a long-term goal, but I want to work to get this set up! I have been reading some useful guides on the Victorious website about how to get the most out of analytics to boost the SEO of my website so I am intrigued to see if I start to notice any changes once I begin following some of the steps I found. I have always been fascinated by the marketing opportunities presented by Google Analytics so if any of you readers have any tips on how to achieve this transition to Google Analytics successfully, feel free to comment below! I would love to hear your experiences!
That’s all from me today…not an overly exciting posts, but come back this week to check out some interesting posts that I am releasing throughout the week! You certainly will not be disappointed!
